This site "is pretty much like the media." OK. Have you ever seen a coach comment publicly about a social media site specifically. I never condemned him doing so, just never heard of any coach doing that before.

It’s exactly what this is, a social media high school sport site.
I will go as far as its better
I have yet to seen on any local media that have better write ups than P•Floyd

Shouldn’t take a high school student to inform you old dogs that this is a type of sport media site

And a local Coach bringing this site up in an interview is a great thing it means some people are in here doing good things with information and some people in here are very knowledgeable…This site deserves the attention.

... it may not exist beyond the post game time frame ... but it would be interesting to know what coaches in the Southeast district think about the SEOPs site ... I know the SOSA brand with all that they do for ALL sports boys and girls in SEO is well respected by schools, teams, coaches, parents, players as they have a big footprint - game broadcasts, podcasts -the Coaches Call in show for basketball, the Weekly SOSA Overtime Podcast ... if the SEOPs site is looked at as a "joke" by coaches and players - not sure I would want to keep doing what I do as I put a whole lot of time and effort into "knowing what I'm talking about" and doing what I do on my own time etc. ... anyway , IF the interview is out there I'd like to see it - if not , no worries ... thanks for looking for it TheOHIObully ...

Coach Ackley was very respectful of the site….he didn’t say anything disrespectful.

He basically said:
The guys over on SouthEasternOhioPreps had us losing only like one person had us winning.
Also I want to put to bed all this MT ducked Minford talked, Minfords a really good team butbwe don’t duck anyone.
They had some snow in their district and had to cancel the game and we couldnt reschedule.

I've listened to Coach Ackley after a few games - Washington CH game, the post season Chillicothe game and watched and listened to his spot when he's been on the Coaches Call-In show on SOSA ... very knowledgable, well spoken, preps his teams well before they step on the court, is passionate about the game ... just curious ... as I posted would be interesting to know how many coaches read the posts on the site ... personally I have met and talked to many, many coaches in the SE District past & present - they are all great to chat with, all know the game, all respectful of what I do on SEOPs ... I'm always glad they even listen to me LOL ... as I've said "I'm a nobody - fan of the game ... cheap seat guy" ... I've never walked away or had coaches walk away from coming up to talk to me where I thought the coach "didn't want talk, that I was a nuisance" ... I think the basketball side of SEOPs is very informative ... if "I" just wanted to find out info about basketball in SEOhio I'd READ what's on here ... but that's just me ...

Thats you assuming his intent, you know what they say about assuming?

And why are people so anti Miami Trace and or negative in here?

Yes I want Trace to win it all but if they dont im rooting for someone out of the SE District

I didn’t assume intent; I mean, “idiots” may be harsh but he certainly didn’t indicate anyone here provided meaningful information. He explicitly called out - FAIRLY - how wrong everyone was. I wasn’t knocking him at all, though I do find it a bit odd that any coaches lend credence to random, anonymous opinions on a message board.

All jokes aside the basketball side of the site is very informative and it feels more friendly and less trolls for the most part
