That's a long road trip for River. Does anyone know what Ex's roster is?

Its in the link. Only freshmen now, but they just had a "recruiting night" so might be more now.

Can't convince a kid from one of the area high schools would transfer to a start up program where you wouldn't be eligible for playoffs.

Just what West Virginia needs. Another school trying to start a football program instead of educating them better. We're 49th in education, right?

According to their website Expression Prep is now playing a team from Virginia week 1 so Hannibal River is open .

Martins Ferry is open week 1, seems like a no brainer. But MF was open when then Prep had them on the schedule so who knows.

So this Huntington school drops River, a D-7 school, to pick up Rye Cove who went 13-1 and made the VA semi-finals?
Plus added little old Cameron WV (a small Class A school) and unbelievably, Harvest Prep??
Harvest Prep will beat them like the proverbial red-headed....

I'm not entirely sure that schedule is correct. After doing some research, Virginia can't play their first game until August 28th, however, it could be a scrimmage. I was also just told that the Tolsia game has been cancelled.

Rye Cove, VA is a very small school that has had a once in 50 year run with their talent. Look for dropoff very soon.

Saw on fourseasons site Rye Cove has been good. Looks like state playoffs last year.

You're right. Playoffs 3 straight years. Looks like last year state semi's.

Little Cameron WV made the WV state championship game last year and will be tough again in 2025
